Based out of La Salle, Ontario, I have been a blacksmith and knifemaker since 2016. Since a young age, I’ve always been interested in making things and working with my hands, and have had a strong mechanical intuition. This led me to a mechanical engineering degree at the University of Western Ontario and to pursue engineering as a career.

As I improved and honed my skills, I became more drawn to the idea of starting my own business making things, not just specifically knives, but also other functional and useful items, Thankfully, my experience working as a process engineer in factories, and closely alongside many different trades, has allowed me to develop a wide variety of skills and knowledge.

As an engineer, I specialize in designing and refining manufacturing processes and machines. As a blacksmith and craftsman, my engineering background gives me a unique perspective in detailed design with the end user in mind. Everything I make is meant to be functional.

My design philosophy is that function begets aesthetics, meaning that a tool properly engineered with function will be an inherently beautiful item.
